On behalf of everyone in the CT Staff Development Council (CSDC),
WELCOME!

CSDC is a vibrant and growing affiliate of the National Staff Development Council (NSDC).  As such, its members are committed to assuring high quality professional learning experiences for everyone involved in the success of Connecticut's students.

We are delighted that you are taking this opportunity to "check us out."  We hope you will consider active participation in CSDC as we move ahead with our efforts to:

  • Provide teachers and administrators with high quality learning experiences that are directly connected to improving student achievement *Note our 2007 Conference.
  • Establish and support a network of the educators who develop and provide professional learning experiences in our schools *Join one of our many committees or *Participate in an upcoming networking session.
  • Share resources on and about high quality professional learning *Check out the Library of Promising Practices.
  • Partner with other organizations in Connecticut on behalf of quality educational experiences for students and teachers *Register and receive reports on the newly created Connecticut Professional Development Coalition (CDPC).

This year, as we launch our new website, we invite you to register as a member of CSDC for FREE.  As a member, you will receive advance notification of conferences and workshops, announcements of upcoming professional learning experiences in Connecticut and our newsletter - all via email.  But more importantly, you will be joining with a group of educators passionately committed to assuring that whatever professional learning is necessary to increase levels of student achievement and success will occur in Connecticut's schools.
